In 2006 Michael Werner opened a new gallery in the historic Berlin-Mitte. The gallery continues to exhibit works by its core group of American and European artists as well as important works by modern masters. Recent exhibitions include new works by Per Kirkeby and Sigmar Polke, and a survey of the late paintings of Ernst Ludwig Kirchner.
