Michael Werner gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of late paintings by Francis Picabia. The exhibition will focus on the mid-1930s through the 1940s and beyond, a time when Picabia experimented not only with a range of imagery but with the methods and materials of painting itself.

An exhibition of major paintings and drawings from a pivotal moment in the artist's early development, including works from Baselitz's first solo exhibition in 1963. Georg Baselitz: The Early Sixties will be accompanied by a fully illustrated catalogue.

Michael Werner Gallery presents the first major exhibition in the United States of works by Friedrich Schröder-Sonnenstern (1892-1982). The exhibition includes over 30 works by the German artist, many of which are exhibited for the first time anywhere. This exhibition will be accompanied by a fully illustrated catalog featuring a text by Dr. Pamela Kort.

This is the first exhibition at Michael Werner Gallery of London-based artist Hurvin Anderson. In 2009 Tate Modern presented the artist’s first solo museum exhibition, Peter's Series, which later traveled to Studio Museum Harlem in New York. A full-color catalogue including an interview with the artist by Matthew Higgs will accompany the exhibition.
